Academic freedom refers to the ability of students, teaching staff, and researchers to express their views freely and ensures the independence of universities. In Estonia, academic freedom remains high, but according to a recent report, it is declining worldwide.
On 2-5th of June, 2025 students of the Science & Technology BSc and Bioengineering MSc study programs thesis defenses will take place at the Institute of Bioengineering, Nooruse 1-121.
In November, Science & Technology Bachelor's program and University of Tartu representatives took part in the annual Education Fair STUDIA in Helsinki, Finland.
